Peanut butter is a delicacy that was developed in America in the 1890s as a substitute for meat protein. A favourite of many Americans and gaining popularity in Europe, the butter is made from finely crushed peanuts.
In order to create a sweeter snack with a lighter texture, the chocolate masters at Rūta have created a unique recipe, which consists of 60% peanuts and 40% milk chocolate. For this reason, the spread has a sweet, but also slightly bitter taste.
Our peanut spread with milk chocolate is a nutritious, easy-to-spread snack that is perfect with porridge, fruit, ice cream, and yoghurt. Use it to add flavour to your bread, buns, crispbread, cakes or biscuits.
